John McCain spent 2007 asking televangelist John Hagee to give public support for his presidential campaign. Again and again, McCain went to meetings where he begged for Hagee's endorsement, and finally, John McCain got the Hagee endorsement. The two of them appeared together on stage and hugged each other. John McCain even featured John Hagee on the McCain campaign web site. All that time, John Hagee's statements that the Nazi Holocaust was a creation of God sent to righteously punish Jews for not being Christians were public knowledge. We at Irregular Times reported on those statements by Hagee, and other extremely offensive statements, months ago. Those statements have been available to the public for years. In fact, if a person does a search to get information about John Hagee, it has been next to impossible not to find them. We at Irregular Times offer this collection of political campaign shirts in opposition to John McCain because we see that America needs to move forward into a new era in which the diversity of American cultural groups can learn to live in an atmosphere free of hate and fear. Please join us in standing against John McCain so that finally, we can break with the shame of the past and make America once more a nation that stands for liberty, equality and justice. |
