Let's get this straight.

They are not "elements."

They are not "capabilities."

They are not "forces."

They are not "assets."

They are not "targets of opportunity."

They are not "target sets."

They are not "mobile targets."

They are not "sites."

They are not "convoys."

They are not "collateral damage."

They are not "casualties."

They are not "camps."

They are not "dispersed armor."

They are not "armored vehicles."

They are not "military facilities."

They are not "engagement zones."

They are not "instruments of foreign power."

They are not "command and control centers."

They are not "front lines."

They are not "strategic complexes."

They are not "areas of strength."

They are not "garrisons."

They are not "barracks."

They are not "divisions."

They are not "positions."

They are not "legs of the stool the Taliban is standing on."

They are people.

They are human beings.

The immense majority of them had nothing to do with the World Trade Center attack.

A significant proportion of them are drafted.

A significant proportion of them are teenagers.

We are killing them.

We are killing people.

We are killing human beings.

Period.

Don't let us do all the talking. Talk back!
